Who are FOSH?
We are parents, carers, school staff and people with an interest in supporting Shoeburyness High School and its community based activities.
We meet four times a year to plan activities and decide which initiatives we can support with the funds we raise. This is a great opportunity to find out about what is going on in the school.
Everyone with an interest in helping the school and its community is invited to join us at any of these meetings, you don’t have to have a child attending to be welcomed by us, just an interest in supporting the school.
Why we need members?
We play an important role in supporting the Shoeburyness High School and rely heavily on the contribution of staff, parents, carers and the community to come and participate in our meetings and events.
Our current member’s children however are coming to the end of their school career at our school and we therefore need to maintain our numbers.
Without FOSH members we are unable to organise as many events as we would like to. We will continue selling Adventure Island wristbands and you will see us selling refreshments at school productions but we would like to extend the range of activities we run. We would therefore love you to join us.
Adventure Island and Sealife Adventure
Adventure Island are once again helping FOSH with their fundraising.
FOSH have Adventure Island Wristbands and Sealife Adventure tickets for sale. The wristbands cost £32 at Adventure Island, however we have them at a discounted price of £18 each. The Sealife Adventure tickets cost £17.50 for an adult and £12.50 for children over 90cm. FOSH will be selling tickets for just £8 each. At these prices you get to save money and help FOSH to raise funds for the school.
If you are interested in purchasing wristbands or/and Sealife tickets please contact the school reception. Many thanks for supporting FOSH.
